When you really believe in a product, you are willing to let people try it for free because you know that once they use it, they will want more. That’s the idea here. There are a lot of ways to get a website. WordPress is such a great solution, that I have put a free hosted solution out here for Edmond business owners to use. If you don’t have a website yet, this is a great first step to get you started. And the best part is that this free site you are about to play with is fully scaleable from this free blog style group hosted site into a high end custom website standing on it’s own domain. And the best part of all this is that it’s the same platform, so once you learn how to use it, you don’t have to relearn a new system when you upgrade.
Here are the steps.
- Sign up for an account and website by clicking here.
(don’t forget to check that you want a website too, not just a user) - You’ll get an email that you’ll use to activate the account.
- Once your account is activated, login and check out the library of themes (site designs) available under the appearance tab. Select a theme and then start adding content.
- Pages are for your static “About” content. Posts are for news and blogs.
- Play with the settings and other options.
